Nothing is going well for the director of human resources at the largest bakery in Jerusalem. He's separating from his wife, his daughter won't talk to him, and he's stuck in a job he hates. Now, after the accidental death of one of his employees, a local newspaper has accused the bakery of inhuman conditions and negligence. So it's the director's job to restore the bakery's image, a mission that will take him from the narrow streets of Jerusalem to icy Romania, to the village of the dead employee, Yulia, a woman he never knew but who, little by little, he learns to admire. Having to deal with her son, who is in revolt against everything and everyone, an exasperating journalist, an eccentric consul and...a cumbersome casket, the director soon gets his humanity back, as well his ability to take care of "human resources."
